    Unanswered: Objects and Buckets

    HI,

I am new to PostgreSQl. I read about Amazon Web Services and I wanted to ask about objects and buckets. How do we create buckets and objects in a databases?
Is bucket just similar to Table name in Datbases(mySQL)?

    Thanks,
    adgarg

From what I read, I see buckets as being analagous to PostgreSQL's Schema.

Within a pg schema, you can have tables, functions, views, triggers, etc. Within Amazon web Services, a bucket is the 'parent' within which you may create objects. A bucket must be uniquely named, system-wide.
