    Unanswered: Email Attachments Through UNIX

I am using Pick Basic on a UniVerse database through UNIX. When I use the 'uuencode' command and send an attachment it will work as long as I am using Outlook to view it. It will recognize it as an attachment.

If I go through Yahoo or some sort of webmail application, it slaps it in the body of the email and it does not recognize it as an attachment. It is as if it does not know how to decode the attachment properly.

Has anyone ever run across this before?

I am using 'Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii' in the coding to tell it what type of attachment it is.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thanks!
