Question Unanswered: zip and ftp export

hi, i am currently working on a macro that needs to be scheduled weekly to do a export to excel, save with the date in the filename, zip the file and then post it to an FTP server.

I have got everything working except for the posting to an FTP address side of it.

Currently the macro exports to excel, does the rename and then zips the file but it just zips to a local drive.

Is there a way that I can automate via another macro to post this zip file on the ftp site using access? I have been reading other forums and they are mentioning bat files however I have never coded in these before...

Whether it's via vba or via a bat file, i just need the file to go from the local drive to the ftp address once I got it all zipped up :-P

Any help would be muchly appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Chillyloung
