I'm using IDS version 10FC5 on RedHat Linux server x86_64 and I want to increase the volume block size used by ISM.
does anyone know how to modify the value of volume block size for ISM?
I tried to change it with the following commands:
nsradmin> print NSR device
nsradmin> update volume block size: 1024 KB
In the nsr.res config file I see that the size was updated but when I try to backup the database onbar -b -w I see with ism_watch that it is still used the default value 32K. How can I force ISM to use a different volume block size?
