    2. start service JDX1
    3. start webwork
    4. start node pool manager
    5. start browser for the application

But when I try to start webworks I've this message:

    Thanks a lot

OK, it appears BEA is unhappy & complaining.
How does any of this make Oracle is the problem?
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.

I think Oracle because the service and the listener are referred to it.

But if it isn't so, can you explain me where I could search an answer?

    Thanks a lot

I suggest you use a different client to test connectivity to the DB.

I did NOT say another database.
I said use a different client, not BEA; like sqlplus, TOAD, Data Studio, etc.
    Yes, you have a problem.
Nobody knows for sure which component originates the problem.

It's not possible to use other client (not DB sure)

When I use Toad o sqlplus I can do everythings

But for my application is necessary BEA

Are you sure that there is a solution?

We use BEA here where I work. I am not a BEA expert, but if one of the Weblogic admins showed me the errors that you have provided, I would suggest that the problem is in the JDBC configuration setting with the connection pool definition. I would then compare the JDBC setting to my TNSNAMES setting and try to pinpoint the error. If that didn't work, then the Weblogic admin would check on a BEA forum or with BEA support to diagnose the problem.

If you can get to the database by every other method you have tried, I would say that the problem is not with the database environment.

The solution is to fix BEA because that is where the problem exists.
When you can connect to DB using SQL*PLus this proves Oracle is working as best it can be.
