Unanswered: Memo field displaying only portion of text when running a query

    Hi All

Wondering if anyone can help me with this one.

I have a number of memo fields in my database. All text is visible when viewed in a table or form, however when I try to extract info through a query only about half of any memo field comes out.

Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong?

    Many thanks

Can you explain more about your problem and structure of your database such as tables and thier relationships?

its a common problem using memo fields in access. if you try to aggregate within the query the JET engine coerces a memo fields nto the equivalent of text. I guess its something to do with how the query optimiser handles text. if yu don't aggregate the memo field comes through en clear

heres a few tips on how to get round it
