Unanswered: Cannot resolve PCB-S-00223 Error from Procob

    Hi,
I am attempting to compile a COBOL program using procob version 10.2.
I am receiving error PCB-S-00223 which states that a variable has not been declared. The code snippet is below.
    05 S15-IO.
    15 SSN PIC S9(09) VALUE ZERO COMP-3.

    EXEC SQL
    DECLARE S15_CSR CURSOR FOR
    SELECT SSN
    FROM EMPLOYEE_USER_S
    WHERE SSN = SN.S15-IO

    The exact error follows.
Error at line 54, column 31 in file UNLDS15.pco
    WHERE SSN = SN.S15-IO
    ..............................1
    PCB-S-00223, Undeclared variable "S15-IO"

I have tried using a declared section but still does not work. And BTW the declare_section precompiler option is set to "no".
Any help is appreciated. Thx in advance.
    Regards,

    Follow-up

I noticed in the post that colons were replaced with a smily emoticon. The syntax in the SQL is a colon.
