    Unanswered: A question in Access!

    Hi guys,
    I have a field that contains the sum of two other fields. The results show up nice on the form and the field is updated when I edit the two source fields on the form, but is not updated on the table. I bound the field to the table but that did not help...MJ

    You don't save it to the table. You just re-calculate it when you need it.

    You really don't need to store calculated values in the table, but if you are set on it, check out the post below:
