    Unanswered: want to force application

    db2V8.2fp5 solaris
i have one application(our reporting application) in status "COMPILING" for 20 days. i want that application to be forced.
but when i forced that application using db2 "force application (1234) [mode async]".i have done it yesterday and its not forced till now. is there any way i can force that application alone without stopping the instance.i just want to force that application as its holding locks (may be exclusive locks on a table, but not sure exactly what kind of lock its holding.this i have confirmed from doing runstats on that table its beeing forced becoz of deadlock from this compiling application)so inorder that i have to run runstats on the table i have to force that single application.

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.
