    Unanswered: Help w/ TabControl

I am working on my grievance database right now, but I have run into a problem. I have a control box that has checkboxes to reflect the answers in a specific field. Each Step of the grievance process has to have its own control box with these checkboxes.

I'm running into this problem: My checkboxes for the 1st step is overlapping onto my tab page for the 2nd & 3rd steps. any suggestions?

II'm wondering if it's because it's in a control box, or something. All of the fields that came directly from the table are fine. This control box I used because my answers for a particular field are in a separate table. Rather than having 5 or 6 separate fields in my table, I chose to use 1 which held answers from 1 - 5. The 1 - 5 answers correlate to the text in the other table. So in order to give them the correct answer, I used checkboxes (which is what my boss would prefer). I didn't want 15 (literally) checkboxes in the table so instead I did it this way. Also though, if I were to put an exit button or save button there, then it too shows up through all of my tabs.

I had a similar problem it was due to me creating or copying a control that end ed up off the tab page. By creating the control on the relevant tab order it only appeared on that page.

Agreed with PS. They are overlapping because they are on the form's background and not on a tab page.

You need to select those checkboxes on image 1 and cut them (CTRL-X) then select the page you want them on and then paste (CTRL-V).

Excellent! I didn't realize that I'd done that (or that you could even do that). I did place them directly on the background apparently. You don't realize how much this has helped me. Thanks a bunch!
