    Unanswered: configuration parameter adviser from cmd

    Hi All,
    How we can use configuration parameter adviser from command prompt??????

    I am using production sever by Putty....thats ??????????????

    I believe it is the "db2advis" tool. If not, then check the db2 CLP if it has an ADVISE command or something. And if still in doubt, RTFM.

    Please post ur db2 udb version and OS

    Hi Pavan,

    Please can you post your db2 udb version and operating system. Please also be a bit more specific as to what you are looking forward to.

    If you are looking forward to query performance then there is the db2advis utility.

    If you are looking forwards to database prameters then there is an AUTOCONFIGURE command. I would suggest you read it up before u attempt to use it.

    db2 v8.1.2.89 with fix pack 9 and OS is linux....
