Unanswered: Transfer huge data from DB2 to SQL Server 2000

    Hello all,

I have to transfer a huge data from DB2 to SQL Server, and I used DTS for this task. At the moment all other tables works fine excep a table of about 17 million records. The log file of DTS of SQL Server showed similar as below IIRC:

    1) 22/May:
    Record 893204
    SQL0901 - System error

    2) 24/May:
    Record 1344233
    SQL0443 - External trigger failed...

Thus I would like to ask:
    1) What are the likely reason?
    2) what is the best practice to transfer huge data from DB2 to SQL Server?

    Thanks a lot,
    Khanh

I would export the data from DB2 in delimited format (pipe, tab, etc) and then load it into SQL server.
