    Unanswered: telecommunication

    I am not familar with telecommunication. If we use this, can we use access database so that user can access database at home? Or i have to change front end to be web application? Many thanks.

    If you can access networked drives remotely you shouldn't have any problems other than speed issues.

    I have only seen this successfully done with Terminal Services.

    I do pretty well in a telecommuting capacity with VPN. Speed is a problem.

    I'm not sure how much I'd trust Access based multi-user solutions over VPN though...
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Other options include Citrix, or re-writing the FE to be web-based.
