    Question Unanswered: Uninstall MDAC manually

Does anyone know how to manually uninstall Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) from Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2.

    Thanks,

I am not sure that is possible, or even advisable. Why do you need to do this?

Are you running SQL2K on it? If you do, MDAC should not be touched, because it's the communication mechanism for the service itself. And every SP for SQL2K may upgrade MDAC level. If you uninstall it your SQL will break.
