    Unanswered: powerdesigner reverse engineer question

I use powerdesigner (version 12) with my model design. Then I generate the database on MySQL (version 5.0.45) on Windows XP machine.

After that I have made some changes on the database via phpMyAdmin. Now I try to do the reverse engineer to put the latest table structure back to powerdesigner. But the result is really messy. Many tables are displayed more than once and the relationships just everywhere.

I tried with the data source and also tried with the sql file dumpped with mysqldump command.

If its reverse engineer feature really like that, I would like to say it is not an useful feature.

I tried many times with different options. Anybody has the same experience? thanks

You should be able to to reverse engineer just the objects that you changed. Are you reversing out the entire database?
