    Unanswered: Transfer database items

    I need to be able to transfer a table from one external database to another external database. At the moment I have some vba code which uses the 'opencurrentdatabase' method. The snag with this is, it actually opens the database window during the transfer when I use it with Access 2003.

    Can anyone give me a simple method to use, that won't show the actual database window while the code is running?

    Here is the current code:

    Dim objAccess As New Access.Application, newname As String
    newname = "Table name " & Format(Now(), "yy/mm/dd hh:nn")
    With objAccess

    .OpenCurrentDatabase (Db1)
    .DoCmd.TransferDatabase acExport, "Microsoft Access", Db2, acTable, Table name, newname

    End With

    simple no...
    you can do it through ddl, by issuing the relevant sql commands
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
