    Unanswered: Sage Odbc

I have a application that Reads data from a SAGE database. The connection works fine via the Sage ODBC Driver.I can successfully read the required data records and populate my SQL2005 database.

However, The SAGE application then reports thousands of data errors the next time the database is started up.

I dont understand how I could be causing this - as I only read data their are no writes to SAGE.

Is it possible that my connection is not closing properly and therefore cause these errors.

    Any suggestions ?.

Does the SAGE database not allow you to create and use a "read only" login?

I've dealt with SAGE a couple of times, and never gotten anything to work exactly as I wanted it to.
If it's not practically useful, then it's practically useless.

Not that familar with SAGE, could look into possibilty of having a Read Only login.Although I am 100% sure that I do not attempt to update SAGE db when I am connected. !

I use Sage (Line 500) a lot. I've never had this problem, but I ALWAYS use a read only login.
