Unanswered: sql server 2005 mssqlserver service resets to manual

hey guys. Having a slight issue. I have a fresh install of Windows 2k3 R2 sp2 and SQL Server 2005 SP2. I set the service to start automatically, however, after the server is rebooted, the service is set back to manual. I have tried several logon accounts and haven't had any luck. I do see this message in the system logs:

    Event Type: Information
    Event Source: MSSQLSERVER
    Event Category: (2)
    Event ID: 17148
    Date: 6/18/2008
    Time: 7:11:28 AM
    User: N/A
    Computer: HA-DB2

    Description:

SQL Server is terminating in response to a 'stop' request from Service Control Manager. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.
