Question Unanswered: How to execute DB2 C sample file (dblognoconn) on Windows XP

    Hi,

I want to execute the C sample file called "dblognoconn" provided with DB2 version 8.1.14.292 FixPak 14 on Windows XP.

Can anyone help me with the steps involved so that I can get the correct output? I want to read the DB2 transaction logs via this.

Its urgent and very critical. Please reply soon.

    Thanks for any help.

    Thanks for the reply Madhavi.

But the thing is that, "nmake all" command will make all the files. I just want to make the "dblognoconn" file. Have you tried it on your system using Windows? If yes, please guide me.

    Thanks.

Looks like you have an old README.

To execute one sample we can use bldapp command.

    compile: bldapp <sample name>
    run: just give sample name.

For any other steps you can check DB2 information center link.

    http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...v9r5/index.jsp
under this link go to Getting started section-> sample files.
You'll find all language READMEs there.

    Thanks,
    Madhavi.
