    Unanswered: DB2 on windows monitoring

I need to evaluate performance of a DB in Windows this will be on DB2 V8.2
All the databases that I have worked are on AIX or Linux. So I am so used to to GREP, awk and other features. Even my scripts are not meant to be on Windows. What do I do now? Does anyone have scripts to do this?

If you install CygWin your scripts may even run unchanged. Alternatively, download ported GNU utilites (gnuwin32.sourceforge.net), which I prefer as a more elegant solution, but then you would need to rewrite your scripts.

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.

Why not use something like cygwin to run your scripts?

I don't think I am allowed to install any additional software as this is a Prod box.

Then you are going to have to convert the linux scripts to windows.
