    Unanswered: Strange message

    I am stoping instance Environment: the DB2 ESE v9.1 (fixpack4)
    When i am starting up I am getting this error


    06/27/2008 14:31:58 0 0 SQL5043N Support for one or more communications protocols failed to start successfully. However, core database manager functionality started successfully.
    SQL1063N DB2START processing was successful.

    I found some info on web prety much pointing ports problem.

    All my ports are fine


    db2c_udbinst1 50000/tcp
    db2fenc1 50001/tcp
    DB2_udbinst1 60000/tcp
    DB2_udbinst1_1 60001/tcp
    DB2_udbinst1_2 60002/tcp
    DB2_udbinst1_END 60003/tcp
    db2c_udbinst2 50050/tcp
    db2fenc2 50051/tcp
    DB2_udbinst2 60004/tcp
    DB2_udbinst2_1 60005/tcp
    DB2_udbinst2_2 60006/tcp
    D1B2_udbinst2_END 60007/tcp

    By the way I am stoping udbinst1.

    db2set -all | grep DB2COMM
    db2 get dbm cfg | grep SVCENAME
    "It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.

    I should verified before post here. Seems to be silly.

    Service name needs to be updated. I thought I updated it before.

    But Thanks once again.

    solved the problem
