Question Unanswered: Issuing an HTTP POST in Access

I want to automatically mail a report in Access to a chosen third party but I do not want to install Outlook on the server to do so, and sendobjects seems a little too limiting to me. What I would like to do is be able to issue an HTTP POST from Access 2003 to send the mail info to a php script on a linux box which would handle the emailing. I plan to store the report as a PDF to attach to the email and I have already mastered that part. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance for your time and your replies.
