    Unanswered: cannot apply patchset p4547809

    I am upgrading oracle from 9.2.0.4 to 9.2.0.8 but when I invoke runInstaller it go for some time (untill 50-60%) and then the installer disappear, so I cant apply the patch, has anyone experience this before any solution will be highly appreciated.

    thanks for your reply, where can I find the log file
    /tmp/OraInstallXXXX doesn't have any log file in there.

    I found the solution, as per oracle metalink article, i will need to download patch for 10.1.0.4 and the run it and point it to 9.2.0.8 location (products.xml file) and then proceed, it worked for me
