    Unanswered: How Analyse the Tables in DB2

    Please give the solution for analysing the tables in DB2 database.

    what is meant with : analysing the tables
    you can do many thinks as select * from table and many more complex statements
    or do you mean runstats : (analyse is the oracle command I think ?)

    Hi,

    Thanks for your replay and it is useful for me.

    I have 2 databases in DB2 and i want complete schema/database to RUNSTATS one time insted of table by table. (Like in Oracle dbms_stats).

    Try REORGCHK UPDATE STATISTICS ON SCHEMA ...

    Hi,
    Write a shell script to do reorg for entire database.
