    Question Unanswered: To Check Offline Reorg for Index

    hi,

    I am doing offline reorg index on a table which is a composite index. I want to know thw status of the reorg happeing. Could someone share the knowledge who struck the same kind.

    snapshot dosent help us. Egerly waiting ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Could you please try this command
    db2pd -db <dbname> -reorg

    Hi,

    db2pd will not show the reorg thats happening or happened for the index of a table alone.{ reorg indexes all for table <tabname> } It can show only when the reorg happend on the table(along with the index).


    But there is a way to check which we found out later, by looking in to the snapshot for application there will be a considerable change in the rows read/rows written
