    Unanswered: How to Know the DB size in Bytes/KB/MB/GB ?

    Dear all,

    Please explain to me for the outlined query give the result in bytes, kill byes, mega bytes or giga bytes.

    db2 "select * from systools.stmg_dbsize_info"

    On AIX version.

    in MB......

    db2 "select db_size/1024/1024 as DB_SIZE,SNAPSHOT_TIMESTAMP,DB_CAPACITY/1024/1024 as CAPACITY from systools.stmg_dbsize_info"


    like above u can get in kb/gb....

    Hi,
    you can also get info from store procedure if you don't have "tools" installed:
    db2 "CALL GET_DBSIZE_INFO(?, ?, ?, -1)"

    You can although install db2mon and look at the "Tablespace" tab (sub-tab "Data")
