Unanswered: Oracle Forms first time use

I have installed Oracle Forms from "Oracle 10g Developer Suite" ( Oracle website). Please guide me for the first time use as it is asking for an user name and pwd for connecting to a database.

How/when/where did you actually install an Oracle RDBMS?

I suggest you reconsider & (ab)use MS Access. It is much more user friendly.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

In a week? All by yourself? And you still aren't sure whether the database is available or not? Didn't read any manual in order to find out what credentials to use? I really don't see a way to help with such a general problem in such a short time.

Perhaps I'm just too pesimistic, but you seem to be just too optimistic (as your quest is, I'm afraid, condemned to a failure).

Oh well, if Scott isn't locked, you might try with username "scott" and his default password "tiger". Database alias? I don't know; how did you name it? *might* be "orcl", but doesn't have to.
