    Hi,
    I use the following command:
    Code:
    setup.exe /i en /u PROD_RTCL.rsp
/i en -> install DB2 client in English language
/u PROD_RTCL.rsp -> run installation from response file.

How to get response file? During first install of DB2 client check out the checkbox 'create response file'.

    Hope this helps,
    Grofaty

m trying to do the same.
see, i have a folder structure like this:
    c:\db2\runtime\
here i have kept the response file, complete setup file, and the log file for silent installation.
now i am running the command for silent installation as:
    c:\db2\runtime> setup.exe /u c:\db2\runtime\RESPONSE_FILE_NAME /l c:\db2\runtime\LOG_FILE_NAME

executing this way is same as manual installation. i know what i am doing is right way for silent installation but there is something i am doing wrong, don't know what.
