    Unanswered: Design View button

    My mdb file is delete while i have mde file. How can i recover my mdb file from mde file particularly forms and reports.

    I am very thankfull for the guidance.

    You can not recover your mdb file from a mde file. Check if you can restore your deleted mdb file. The golden rule is to keep a copy of your mdb before you create a mde file.

    I sincerely hope you don't make that mistake again. If you had read anything about MDEs, the first thing you learn is to NEVER delete the MDB file.

    It's like deleting the source code and keeping only the compiled code. You can never ever make any coding changes with an mde file and it is ALWAYS wise to keep the mdb safely in a secure place on a drive which is backed up (and make backups of the mdb BEFORE making any code changes (i.e. Copy -> Paste in Windows Explorer. It doesn't get any easier to make a backup copy of your mdb.))
