    Unanswered: No File System Caching

Once you alter a tablespace with No File System Caching, how can you tell its in this mode ? I looked in the catalog but did not find anything to show it was in this mode.

    UDB V8 FP15

    Thanks

A snapshot of the tablespace will get you that information. Or else if you are on V8 FP 9 and higher you could use the SNAP_GET_TBSP function to find that information.

    Code:
db2 get snapshot for tablespaces on <database> | grep "File system caching"
    or
    Code:
    db2pd -db <database> -tablespaces
(see the FSC column in the Tablespace Configuration section)

"It does not work" is not a valid problem statement.
