Unanswered: Problem with Running Balance Query

I downloaded a db from the web - this type of running balance by group is what I need, except there is an issue when clicking the balance field when the query is opened...

Open the DB - open theQuery RunningTotalsByGroup - it opens and displays the results perfectly....

Except - if I click the Balance fields with the mouse - the balances mysteriously increase...

there is a module that controls the balance - but it all appears to be ok???

If I close the query and reopen - the wrong balances appear again

If I close the database and reopen it - it works - until the balance column is clicked....

Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to prevent it?

    Any help is appreciated

Right click the balance column and chose properties. Then go to the events tab and tell us if there's anything in there.

So don't click the balance column!! It's not designed to be clicked.

Ima repeat what I always say in these situations... do the running sum in a report, not a query. It's a LOT easier.
