Red face Unanswered: Using criteria in ADP view

    Hi all,

I'm having a MS Access 2003 ADP file with SQL Server 2005 database as back end. I've built a search form with a subform based on a view. All the views are being created in the SQL database, because my version of Access doesn't allow me to save created views.

How can I pass form's elements as criteria to the SQL view? Something like

[Date Submitted] BETWEEN [Forms]![FrmSearchDateStatus]![cboFrom] AND [Forms]![FrmSearchDateStatus]![cboTill]

Please be basic, because I've never worked with these tools before.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Best,
    OfficeDummy

You change your view on SQL Server to a stored procedure, which allows you to pass variables.

    Thanks!
Would syntax be the same as in "normal" Access then? Can I base my ADP Access form on the stored procedure, and pass variables in an embedded SQL in a VBA code?
