Datagrids never show images. You'll need to use an Access form to show images.

The quickest way is to highlight your table and click on the AutoForm button.

lung NO NO NO NO don't put pictures into the database it WILL BLOAT out of size

why not just store the filename and put the images on the server somewhere

you also don't put pictures in a VB.NET applicition using an autofrom button. you would use an image control in the VB.NET code and popultate that in the normal way.

being picky Access doens't have tables of its own, it passes JET tables off as part of Access unless you explcitly use another data storage type

probably this question would be better in the VB forums rather than the Access forum, as it looks to be a VB.NET problem not an Access probem. if you want to do that please let us know and it can be moved.

I'd agree that unless you have a specific requirement to store images in the db then store a pointer to the image in the db no the actual image itself.
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
