You can use db2look and edit the generated file to just keep what you need.

    Hi Andy,

i thought of db2look before. As there is no option for extracting indexes only it is of no use for me. i have a list of about 350 indexes of 1900 in total for which i need the ddl. Tis is definately too much for a manual approach.

i need somthing i can use for automation.

    Cheers

You can query the DB2 catalog views and construct the respective CREATE INDEX statement based on the information found there. This is also what db2look is doing - except that your query can apply further filtering.
