“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

I think you are right, Pootle - Certus is pulling our collective legs and some of us are falling for it

If it's a spoof, it's quite elaborate. His blog has hundreds of pages devoted to such "research"

Of course I will help, if I can. But Certus is a fool and a poser. Please don't lump us into the same sentence.

No. I'm telling you, I think he is certifiably crazy. He exhibits many of the symptoms of schizophrenia.
I am seriously thinking of locking this thread now. It has dragged on far too long, and is now just becoming a parody of itself.
Certus, this forum is not your soapbox. Your next post damn well better have some actual content or purpose, or I'm putting an end to this.

You have been a great audience.

My physics model is Open Source.

Pffff - it's not even spinning.

BTW - why do you tag your own posts in your own blog with your name?

I'm just wondering if the http://relationary.wordpress.com/, along with the post should be submitted to www.thedailywtf.com.. it certainly fits the subtitle of that site "curious perversions in information technology"
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

Maybe. It's certainly very entertaining in a curious way: the typical post starts with a bold assertion that it is going to shed a new light on some problem or area of knowledge. This is then followed up by a totally incomprehesible diagram full of made up words with virtually no explanation. Take this one on data modelling and relationships:

    http://relationary.wordpress.com/200...relationships/

It starts off with some banal observations about the subject, then leaps into a "Zachman" framework that I don't believe even John Zachman himself could make head or tail of! Gripping stuff...

Thank you for your criticism. It will improve my blog post. If it's more explanation you what that's what you'll get.

I also have revised my set equations as I saw a greater correlation between Einstein's equations and my attempt to extend them.

If you look at the entry in my blog you will now find explanatory text.

unified set theory (I've changed the name to "Octahedron Theory" as I've received advice that it is more descriptive)

If you want to know more about the physics model I'd be happy to add more.

Blindman, if you don't like this thread just don't read it. You're not the arbiter of what is and isn't intelligent discussion. You're personal attacks are only degrading you. If you don't like my work I am more than willing to hear you out.

    Tony,

Boldness and made up words, just like Shakespeare and R. Buckminster Fuller. The dictionary is reference, not ordinance.

    Zachman didn't do his homework.

Happy to hear I gripped ya.

healdem, any publicity is good publicity.

pootle flump, I plan to have contributors who are not afraid to put their name on original thought.

Creativity in living is not without its attendant difficulties, for peculiarity breeds contempt. And the unfortunate thing about being ahead of your time is when people finally realize you were right, they'll say it was obvious all along. --Alan Ashley-Pitt

    Cheers
