    Unanswered: Merge statement of Oracle 10g

    Hi all

    Can I use merge on multiple conditions ORed or ANDed by several conditions. i tried doing the same but it throws the following error:-
    Statement run
    merge into tt1 using tt2 on (tt1.c1=tt2.c1 and tt1.c2=tt2.c2 )
    when matched then
    update set c2=tt2.c2;
    Error received:
    ORA-27432: step does not exist for chain.

    Thanks

    Form Googling, this seems to be a DBMS_SCHEDULER error, nothing to do with MERGE statements as such. Is there a trigger that calls DBMS_SCHEDULER?

    Thanks. Thats working. There was some constraint problem I think. Now I want to call some procedure for insert when not matched in merge, is it possible?
