    Unanswered: Unlocking a DB

Hi i have a DB thats locked (has a lock icon on the the main DB icon) But i don't need any password to login to it it's just you can't edit it, i have already tried F11 and it didn't work, holding shift while is coming up displayed the forms, tables etc but it won't let you edit it.

Any ideas how i can unlock this DB?

    Thanks,
    Yizi

check the read /write attribute in the OS?
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

The read and write is OK (OS wise)!

    like the attached?
    if yes, that's .MDE

unlocking (?? reverse-engineering ?) .MDE is not simple, tho some for-fee orgs claim to get close. the good orgs will refuse unless you can prove that you have purchased the right to access the internals of the .MDE.
