    Unanswered: Audit Options In Oracle

    Hi,

Please help to check enabled audit options on SYS.AUD$. Like for example

AUDIT INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE ON SYS.AUD$ BY ACCESS

How can I verify if the above SQL STATEMENT is enabled in the database.

    Thanks and regards,
    Mike

Isn't this a problem. You would audit rows being put into the audit tables. A single insert would get you into a never ending loop. Why would you want to do this?

    Hi Bill,

My vendor wants to know if AUDITING was enabled in SYS.AUD$ (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE). I need a SQL command that can show or prove if these options are active or not.

    Thanks and regards,

Do something and then select from the audit table to see if it is in there.

Maybe you could just explore tables returned by following code:
    Code:
select * from dict where table_name like '%AUDIT%'
