    Unanswered: Sql1005n


    I deleted my databse from the DB2 control center. Now I am trying to recreate the same database under a different windows login (first reason being that i was trying to change the schema) however, it gives me the following error The database alias "DRAWBASE" already exists in either in the local database directory or the system database directory. I tried using the following command : uncatalog database drawbase but it says it could not be found...

    Basically what you did in Control Center was to uncatalog the DB. You did not drop it, so the data is still there. If you catalog the db again, it will all be there.
