    Unanswered: SAP and oracle

    does anyone knows if oracle could be used with SAP......thanks in advance

    If you mean the Oracle database, then yes the SAP application will run on oracle. If you mean Oracle Applications, I don't think so.

    thanks beilstwh....are you familiar with SAP at all by any chances....i trying to learn my way into it to become a SAP consultant..So any advice would be great....thanks in advance...

    Try techtarget for SAP for SAP info. Btw I am a Oracle Apps consultant!

    That quite made me laugh! actually as far as the ERP market is concerned, SAP is the clear leader. However in recent years, oracle has begun to really consolidate it's position and because of it's gamut of combined offerings poses a threat to SAP's leadership
