Problem Description:

When a prompt message is displayed inside a Window, Linux version of IBS gives the following error:

Program stopped at "prompt.4gl", line number 13.
FORMS statement error number -1146.
PROMPT message is too long to fit in the window

The Window size is 78 columns and the message size (along with one column for user input) is 79 characters. This works fine in HP-UX with the cursor for user input appearing on the Window border.

If we change the message size to anything less than 78, it works fine because the message size is less than or equal to Window size.

This behavior is attributed to the compiler difference between HP-UX and Linux.

Is there a generic change for this problem?
