    Unanswered: Report problem

    I've redesigned my report and where i had a totals on the report footer with the control source =Sum([My text box name on the report]) and it would produce the correct total, its now asking me a parameter with the question "My text box name on the report"
    please help?

    Not enough information to help much.

    All I can suggest is you double check that the sum expression is exactly the same name as the actual text box's name... and make sure that text box is connected to a column in the report's underlying query.

    what column name do you want to sum... replace the
    Sum([My text box name on the report])
    where MyColumnName is the name of the column in the report you want to sum
    by using
    Sum([My text box name on the report])
    you are telling the Access report generator to ask you for a parameter at run time
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
