Exclamation Unanswered: Using Lotus Notes for Auto E-mail

I know I have asked this before, but maybe there is a new way to get around this. I have no problem getting access to auto create an e-mail when certain conditions exist (such as a form open event), but in Lotus Notes, it only creates the e-mail, adds the subject line, and sets the send to address(s). It does not send the e-mail automatically, but rather waits until someone comes along and presses the "send" button on the e-mail. This delays the e-mail getting sent in a timely fashion unless they catch it. Is there any way without changing Notes (I work for a large company and the Notes team is about 600 miles away and any request takes about 10 months to get to the top) that I can get this to go ahead and send the e-mail automatically?

Maybe someone found a "duct tape" method to get it to work? (I sure wish we would have went with Outlook!)

Don't know if this works as I don't use Lotus Notes but I thought that I would pass it along. Good Luck.
