What's wrong with the DB2 driver? It comes free with the DB2 client.

currently, we're using the DB2 driver but i feel that accessing the database is slow. that's why i'm looking for alternative OBDC driver that may allow me access the database faster.

    Hi,
I really doubt that ODBC driver is main performance problem. Can you post SQL that is running so slow? Can you provide db2 version (command: db2level) and db2 edition (command: db2licm -l).

I would check expain of SQL. Use Command Center, connect to database, write down select statement and execute "Access Plan" button.

I would recommend against anything but the DB2 driver. If you read here for a while, you will find that problems related to the MS ODBC driver are reported once in a while and that switching to the DB2 driver often fixes those problems.
