    Unanswered: Database quality

    Hi All,
I am new to this community. I was just wondering in my case I have to improve the quality of database. The scenario is:

There are some xml files, we have to extract and convert them into the *.txt files, send it offshore, there some operations have to be done and then, it comes to us. We have to check quality of those files by running some MS access queries to match and update if there is any discrepancy. Covert it back to the xml and send it to database server.

My question is, as I am new to the computer science field, how can I improve the quality or have a best way to match the database. If you can suggest some general ideas, that would be great.

    Thanks a lot,
