    Unanswered: Qry....? use of WITH AS

    Hi i need to make a query that should give result in a single row.



    table.

    APPLICATION. FIELD VALUE

    1 CMT this is first comment
    1 t2 other
    1 AS askdjlaskjd
    1 CMT this is second comment



    what i need is the query that will give result.



    APPLICATION VALUE
    1 this is first comment, this is second comment



    i mean all the VALUE seperated by comma having FIELD values CMT.

    please CMT may be many.. and i cant use the variables in it..

    Do a search on google for "oracle stragg" as this function will create your comma separated list of values.

    Take a look at the link I posted - this question was initially asked over on MSDN by Zaidi/Xaidi and I (username: gvee) directed them here because they were looking for an Oracle solution to the problem.

    gee, i'm sorry i did not read the entire thread

    i saw that it was a microsoft solution (in the first few posts) and the fact that it was actually oracle was not revealed until much later

    you could've at least said something besides just posting a link
