Unanswered: Comparing problem with datas in recordset

    Hello sir,

I am having two recordset in which datas to be compared.

First Recordset name : racing Fields name: no1,name1
Second Recordset name : sporting Fields name: no2,name2

From these two tables datas to be compared.
(ie) name1 and name2 are equal it must be displayed (also wen name2 contains any extra letters after comparing with name1 it must also be displayed)

(for eg: if name1 : bharani and name2 : bharani(IRE), here bharani and bharani(IRE) must be displayed as equal after comparing)

    Thank you sir.

Can you right SQL? Your INNER JOIN will use LIKE and a wildcard, rather than the "=" operator.
Have a stab if you can, come back if that is not enough help.
