I just migrated a database from 8.2 to 9.5.
I will be converting the tablespaces to data type "Large."
Can someone confirm for me that a reorg of an existing table and it's index(s) will effectively convert the table and it's index(s) to use Larges RIDs?
Yes, ALTER TABLESPACE . . . will ALLOW the tablespace to have large tables/indeces, but the question is what makes the existing tables/indeces HAVE large rids/slots? My understanding is that a table reorg will do it.
