    Post Unanswered: Migration tool

    i am using the sql server as database for my current application . now i am trying to migrate the Database from sql server to MySql. please let me know is there any tool which converts the Stored procedures automatically from the SqlServer to MySql.

    not that Im aware of, as the syntax of the stroed procedures/trugger is going to be application specific. In my books, you are more likely to be able to migrate such scripts within the MySQL migration toolkit (available as part of the GUI tools from the MySQL site), but I wouldn't know whats now included in that toolkit.

    failing that you are going to have to migrate each script individually, which I'd suggest is no bad thing if it helps understanding what each script does.
    I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
