    Unanswered: Sybase basics

I'm a DB2, Oracle and SQL Server DBA

I just installed client tools for sybase and set up the sql.ini file

    I think

What tools do you use to write SQL against the DB?

The physical order of data in a database has no meaning.

I use the tools that install with the client i.e. SQL Advantage with ASE 12.5
For a tool that support all the DBMS systems you work with you might want to have a look at e.g.
    sqldbx
    dbartisan
    etc.
